Yo,

Night out tonight .

Looking forward to it someways , not in others .

My outfit is pressed , and ready and waiting .

This was a challenge I set myself , and I know I will have a good time . Just a bit outside my comfort zone .

Anyways other than that , have had a chat with the powers that be , and they have agreed to widen the middle lane . Well it was getting a bit of a tight squeeze with soooooo many of us in it .

Have a great day you all

Shiny xxxxxxx

Hi Shiny, great post on mine, and all I can say that Im kinda getting my pride back, I still cant bring myself to think too deeply yet, but one day soon I will be able to face it and process it and shove it under the stairs where it belongs.

Was full o' the deel this morning, kinda got a wee bit low as the days went on, but thats ok, it just proves to me that Im "normal" 🙂

Watching the paralympics, geezo how brave are those guys 'n' gals, doff my cap to them all.

Enjoy your night out tonight my friend.

Just read in Heat magazine that there's a new glamour puss about to paint the town red! Hope you have a lovely time Shiny, in fact I know you'll have a lovely time. Furthermore you deserve it, you earned it. Going out, doing new things etc is brilliant but what is better still is that you can just switch off and enjoy it. Hopefully you'll come back so happy and shiny it'll feel like you've been on a date with Mr. Sheen.

Tomorrow I shall not wear insect repellant for over the course of this lovely summer I have become a man's man. Firstly my weak and fragile body could not handle the numerous bites which plagued me, resulting in bullseye rashes, swelling and tears before bedtime. Yet over the months my body reacts less to them,

I now laugh when I get bitten and smile in the face of adversity. I'm a man's man alright.

I will be wearing harmony hairspray though (mine not yours), Chanel no 5, a cheeky off shoulder number with matching skirt, leg warmers and heels. I've grown a beard which I won't be shaving in order to give me that overall 'wow' factor. Personally I'm looking forward to it, Maisie on the other hand I'm unsure about, she gets embarrassed easily, I think it could be the beard.

Anyway I better go, nails don't paint themselves you know.

Yo,

Just in , had a lovely night , though it's not something I would want to do every week.

6 couples went to an Italian restaurant with a Michael Buble tribute act , I like the rat pact stuff so it was my idea.

The food was ok , plenty of it and the tribute act was not bad we had a sing song and plenty of drink .

At the end of the night unbeknown to us all one of the guys picked up the bill , which I suspect was several hundred pounds . Felt a bit guilty as I had suggested going out in the first place , but at the end of the day I suppose it was his choice .

Next night out the girls have decided will be a tarrow and clarevient evening , boys will go out somewhere else .

I have said I will go , but maybe that was the drink talking lol. No I will go , I really should get out more ,do not want to stand in a pub , but if they are doing something else , seeing a show , going bowling anything other than just standing there in a pub bored I will consider it . Think it's important to move my recovery forward not to spend my days off , isolating myself , in my room with a book , catch up tv or this site . In the end it's all about living with my addiction not hiding myself away and avoiding life.

Any ways off to sleep now , thinking how generous some people can be , and pretty proud of myself that I took up the challenge and breezed it .

Morning Shiny, your night out sounds great, and well done to the guy who picked up the tab 🙂

I hope you aint too hungover this morning, I don't drink, but can feel hungover when Ive not had my sleep. Used to drink in my younger years and made a right fool of myself at times, oh when I think back - the shame !! lol

You're journey is a real inspiration, and your diary is one I would earmark for anyone trying to overcome this addiction, I know you have helped me no end my friend, and I will always be indebted to you.

Have a great Friday my friend,

Take care

Cameron.

P.s. Carl gonna take up the role of Robin, so the party is on 🙂 lol

Hi shiny

Just catching up after a little rest , free nights out for u well all I can say is u deserve it and it's even nicer when u least expect it , that's exactly something I would do after a big win just treat everyone around with no thought of saving any not to the several hundred pound though lol will be nice to do it one day with hard earned money but that's a long way off

Middle lane is def a good place to be unless ur on the motorway and driving slow with ur hat and driving gloves on , glad ur feeling super positive and that's good for u and good for us

Just caught up with x factor nothin exciting to report red what tomorrow brings

Take care
