Just catching up on a few posts. Been one of those weeks. Anyway, caught a glimpse of you yesterday in that middle lane. You are owning it at the moment and I was happy to tuck in behind. Anyone or anything tries to dislodge us and we will be more than ready.

Actually, we say all this about the middle but I do feel we are edging out slightly into that fast lane we are doing things, getting out, living life a bit. We will just whisper that we have edged over a bit.

On that note I am going to edge over a bit myself with a haircut and a bit of aftershave before hitting the town lol.

Good morning my Shiny friend, hope alls good in your world today and work didn't take too much out of you yesterday.

I feel as if Ive been kicked by a horse, my rocket had us doing olympics yesterday, my days of running or doing rhythmic gymnastic are long gone 🙂

Im feeling a bit guilty just now and I gotta tell.I reread my post that I made on your diary yesterday, and when I came to the bit about the "treadmill" it didn't sound right, I hope anyone who read it knew that it was the treadmill of life I was referring to and not any other kind of treadmill. Hope no offence was taken, coz there was never any intent.

Had a great Saturday with the wee man, looking forward to a nice relaxing Sunday, defo no gambling on my horizon.

X factor update , fp not impressed at the moment but she does love the red or black I know u don't watch but last night the finalist had to pick red or black for one million pound and picked red and it was black , devastating to watch yes it might be great tv but I just looked at the individual it was just simply soul destroying but that's the world we live in today

The middle lane sounds great. There will be times when the slow lane is used but we all really need to stay well, well away from the fast lane.

Hope your weekend was a good un. Did nada yesterday, made it far too long a day, so gotta get my b**t in gear today and get motivated .

It can be dangerous to get bored, but even though I did nothing yesterday I never once thought of gambling, so thats a good sign 🙂

My sons a football coach (youths) and they play their games on Sundays, rocket and his mummy go too, they kinda make a day of it with their friends, have a bbq after etc, so I get a phonecall around 8pm every Sunday to chat and catch upon the day. He told me last night that the rocket has a black eye !! My heart started racing when he told me, the very thought of that wee one hurting tears me up, and Ive thought of him all night, but I know kids get bumps n bruises, but my hearts like a lump of butter when it comes to him. Will see him today when school comes out - cant wait 🙂

Definite change in the temps up here, we can 'smell' frost in the air up here, so the boots, hats n scarves need to be hunted out ready for use !!

Hi Shiny... am glad you had a good night out. I need a fun night out for sure. Like you say, something which is just a little bit more than simply standing in a pub or pub like place. I use to go to comedy nights (small venues) years ago. That was enjoyable.
