Long fruitful day which has helped me no end .

High light of my day, my youngest told me that her and her mate , stood with homeless the other night , sang with them and helped them raise 50 pounds.

This was on her night out in the town, I thought how kind. Do not think I would have done it, but fair play to her, sticking to her believes and walking the walk .

But really I am ok with it , been practising the art of delegation.

It is my mission to off load as much of the stuff I can and sit there in my grey office , play solitaire on my phone and check on my gamcare pals every hour or so.

Obviously , as the saying goes and then she woke up.

Cause no matter how well I train them , the buck always stops with me.

But that's ok , work it is what it is, I am not complaining cause there are lots of people out in this country who would give there back teeth to be in paid employment.

So I am thankfull for what I have got, with that I bid you farewell , as I go off with a smile on my face , thanks Dunc the barge is perfect , just put up the Flagg opppppppssssssss will he be ok up there lol

You seem awfully cheerful for a monday if I was the jealous type I'd be.......... Well jealous I guess :)!

I think your post sums it up really we often get down about work but then realise its a means to an end and many through not having employment struggle to meet that end! I've got a work experience lad shadowing me today so I better at least pretend I'm busy all day!! I'll blow his mind with the complexity of being a human sat nav (that's effectively my job)! Altho I do quite like the idea of being the Flag on the barge too sounds quite soothing just blowing around all day enjoying the view!

In answer to your question ill happily take a couple

Of double deckers each week I mean in virtual terms at least! In reality I need to be careful I'm getting a bit weight conscious at the moment!

Right I say to you enjoy your day and good luck with that delegation can't beat a bit of solitaire! Actually I once had a job where I would spend whole afternoons playing a movie quiz thing on the computer. Now that was a job lol!

Thanks as always for your nice post on my diary. I liked reading one of your previous posts regarding setting yourselves small weekly targets. This is a great idea. This is what keeps life exciting. I like the idea of having an end goal that requires lots of little targets or goals to be met along the way in order to prepare yourself for the end task. I have this a little with my aim of running a full marathon. I started training, then moved onto racing small distances moving onto the half marathon in less than eight weeks all in preparation for the big one. As previously mentioned, I am not good at patience. Once, I decided I wanted to hike up a mountain and jumped in my car and drove to Fort William and with my Timberland boots and a set of golf waterproofs I went to the top and back down again. Great day.
