Hey Shaun,

Keep cranking up those days, one by one, day by day.

I suppose I'm lucky where I live, a bus runs past part of the route I walk to work and it's a No.37 - I see it as a sign that roulette ISNT the answer... 😉

Another Saturday negotiated. Coming up to 3 weeks.

Remember folks, the big chains of bookmakers haven't accumulated hundreds of shops built on WINNERS.

It is what it is, we are on here because we have a gambling problem. The good thing is we are all doing something about it by being on here........

Day 24, another thought that is motivating me is last Xmas. It was Xmas eve, the Mrs had her sister and kids around so I thought I would try my luck at the casino.

Left the casino 2 hours later absolutely gutted having lost hundreds of pounds. Xmas day was brutal, all the family around and me smiling on the outside when inside I was being cut by glass. The next day as I was queuing with the Mrs for the next sale, all I could think about was the hundreds I had lost, I was so unhappy.

NO WAY is my Xmas going to be ruined this year, I take each day as it comes but Xmas is my short term goal.

Cheers Shaun , that's great news and hopefully ***** will get it's wish in decreasing the stake below £ 20 a spin :)) .

You know even looking at that article and the photo of a Fob't made my stomach go a little and not in a good way , it's crazy that even after 2 yrs away my body still associates that sickening loss feeling but that also might be a good thing too ! :0))

Look after yourself mate and congrat's on the first month :))

Day 34, almost 5 weeks, still not gambling.

Just can't get that sick feeling after a loss out of my system - it is the thought I will remember the next time I get tempted.

Shaun

Thank's for the drop bye Shaun , little man's doing ok :))

Sometimes those thoughts in the pit of our stomach are the ones that keep us safe , If I think back on my gambling day's I really get those " First day at school butterfly " feelings or at my age it could be IBS ? but it's still not nice !.

Racking up the weeks Shaun , well done mate :))

Day 36, another of my numbers that I have chased and lost hundreds on. On one occasion at the casino I kept playing it again and again, nothing. Lost all of my money, went to the toilet and started walking out head down (walk of shame), as I walked passed my table, yes you've guessed it, number 36 comes up with the croupier looking at me and smiling!

Strange thing though, what that croupier doesn't know I will no longer be contributing towards his wages as I have permanently barred myself, LOL, TAKE THAT!

Thank you Shaun for your kind compliment :)) .

Regarding the Numbers , Why does it alway's do that ? I know it's a random result but it was like rubbing salt into an altready gaping wound , if only I'd have taken that onboard at the time I could have spared myself much misery , perhap's it was my Higher power trying to warn me to stop ? . At least He / She or it got through to me eventually :))

Your safe tommorow number 37 :))

Stay well buddy !!
