Thanks all xx

I have been feeling really strong recently... 2day I had a little wobble some strong urges. It was unexpected tbh!

Our systems went down at work so we were all allowed 2 go home a few hrs early. I needed 2 get a few things in town.. I went past the arcade and I was trying 2 convince myself I could spend £20 and walk away.. I considered it 4 a while no1 was expecting me home early but thankfully I managed 2 fite the urge and decided 2 go and pick Maddison up early we snuggled up and watched a disney dvd that my nan had bought her 🙂

I was feeling so strong and positive, so I really do not know where that urge came from 🙁

It is my pay day 2moro and my work Christmas party, after 2day I am gonna take some steps 2 make sure after a few drinks I do not play the machines... I don't wanna mess up again. I will be gutted!

So I am leaving my cards with my Bf, and I am just gonna take enough money 4 drinks no spare!

Just have 2 be aware atm, the positive is I stayed strong and I am still gamble free 🙂

Looking 4ward 2 my Christmas party 2moro, I think I will be feeling rough on Sat tho lol

Hope everyone is ok xx

Thanks all xx

I had a brilliant nite out last nite at my work Christmas party, it was really good 2 be out with ppl that have become friends that do not gamble, I drank way 2 much, had a laugh there was a band playing we were all dancing...God knows wot we all looked like lol... But it was fun!

My bf took Maddison out this morning so I could have a lie in... I felt rough 1st thing but I was ok by lunch time. My bf bought our Christmas tree 2day and we put that up and our decorations.... Maddison loves it, but she is being really naughty she keeps trying 2 pull the baubles of the bottom of the tree, she has been making us smile all day... bless her:)

My bf also bought her a singing snowman so now we have that and a singing santa... we will have a family of them soon... they drive me mad lol... But she is soooo happy and that is all that matters 2 me... she has only just fell asleep 2nite she is normally asleep around 7ish... hopefully she mite sleep l8tr 2moro fingers crossed 🙂

I am still gamble free and 2day I am thankful 4 all the good things in my life and now I enjoy them and gambling is no longer always in my thoughts!

I have seen a quote on this site... progress not perfection!

That is how I see this journey now and I know I have made progress and that is all that matters 🙂

I hope everyone is ok xx

Feeling a little down 2day, just been writing out my Christmas cards... It doesn't feel rite writing 1 out 2 just my nan and not my Gramps 🙁

Made me feel really sad, it is times like this that I think gambling will help me 4get.. I have 2 stay extra busy 2day!

Off 2 my parents for lunch in a bit, hopefully that will take my mind off things a little!

Charlotte,

Your gramps will without doubt be looking over you, wearing a massive smile, why? Because one thing is plain for all to see, you did turn your life around, every day your life improves, because your efforts are outstanding, for that keep enjoying things, keep bettering your tomorrow by making that choice .

Be proud.I am.

Least we don't forget, those folk will always hold a special place, and inspire us.

Duncs stepping forwards never back
