Hi Christer1, Your story sounds much like my own in that i dont feel as if i can tell my partner that i have relapsed again and will have to go it alone... we done in self excluding and you sound like myself you really want it to work out this time... i wish you well and look forward to reading about your continued recovery.... all the best

Well done you chsrtom3 have more balls than I do. Your gambling seems similar to mine as in I'm not in debt but I noticed I done it and that got me down feeling sick and stupid everythime cos every time I had a good win id blow it trying to get more so as you've read I multi self blocked last time apart from one shop but prob is that one shop I still had no control so enough is enough I self exluded all. Now I'm relieved but now there will be times I wish I never when footy starts but I'm sticking. With it day 4 I'm still not giving In

Yes mate can ralate to the feeling sick and stupid and even when we win it is never enough, well done on self excluding....i to will find it hard when the football season starts cause thats what i always gambled on but in saying that there was always some kind of match on that i would have lost my hard earned money on.... guess we just need to try and take it one day at a time

Well done on making it to day 4 you are doing great think it really is a matter of just trying to occupy our time doing other things and just trying to take one day at a time... also great that you have stopped watching the 365 streams as dont think that will help your recovery... keep going you can do it this time

Yes l agree I've been here before but it feels gd this time as I know there's no chance of it changing and to be fair my mind isn't focused on it but still early to get too exited as I've been this far already

Hi Christer1, looks like your doing well now..

One bit of advice, any friends that usually message you betting tips, let them know you are quitting gambling otherwise the urge will cause you to want to gamble again.
Try not to even discuss betting with them even in person.

Its the same as seeing adverts for gambling on tv or social media etc, I have deactivated Facebook for this exact reason.
