Day 97 gf, been busy last few days with work and family stuff, update on my cousin, he made xmas and is still holding his own. Celebrated the new year on the 30th with family which was good but a little too much wine. I'm going to grab some sleep now but catch up later after some more walking. Whilst I'm very tired still feel fantastic in other ways because I'm not gambling and enjoying things so much better. I'm almost at my 100 day target so I'm going to set some more, which are 150, 200, 250 and 300 etc etc., night night for now, X
o*g, just 2 days to go and I'm 100 days, I'm so pleased with myself but know I cannot get complacent and can never gamble again not that I'd want to as currently feeling so good. X at work on a break so must crack on x
Two days to go, what an achievement. Be proud, be very proud, I'll be listening for the screams of joy come Thursday morning.

Thank you Im also up early this morning, alarm went off at 4.30am, was out at 5.30 to drive to the train station, now on my second train at 7am. At least whilst on the train I have time to reflect and have a proper catch up with myself. FIrstly I'm still getting the odd urge to have a ciggy even though it's been 22 months since I gave up, this is more then gambling urges so some days I have to knock mr g and mr c out. Talking of not smoking one of the things that has returned on that front is my sense of smell and taste. things I could eat before now taste too strong and on the first train journey this morning I thought I would throw up as the person sat next to me had severe flatulence! the gambling front is looking pretty good as tomorrow is 100 days, I feel like a different person and I'm doing so much more. I have more energy because I can sleep at night, I'm not either worrying about the losses or watching the bloody reels spinning and hoping for the bonus to arrive . Oh how I wish I'd not been so stubborn and accepted the losses sooner so that I could have started my journey sooner, it's like the cigges I cannot ever have one as I wouldd be straight back on them like that first bet, anyway I've got some reading to do now ready for my meeting x
Update, just learnt my first lesson of train food, ordered a bacon sandwich as that's what is said, when it arrived it was in a bun with a hash brown on top, cheese and red sauce all over it, FIrstly it was so hot I could now rob a bank because I have no finger prints left! I don't like red sauce, it s now sat in a bag waiting for the cleaners. I hope macd's is still doing breakfast when I arrive in the city. That 5pounds would have really bothered me a few months back now I'm more annoyed because I'm hungry x
o*g just arrived cannot find mcd's so went straight to th venue for the meeting which is the Hilton, just ordered a bacon bap and a coffee, 9.60 pmsl add that to the 5.00 breakfast that I binned on the train and my bacon sandwich and drink cost me 14.60 hope it's nice.
On my first train back home, should finally arrive home around 9ish. Well another shock was how much it was to go to the toilet in the train station 40p shocker, no longer can you say I'm going to spend a penny lol. Been surrounded by people with coughs and colds if I get away with not catching one I will be most surprised. Anyway sorry if anyone is readying my boring ramblings but it's keeping me occupied and tomorrow I'm 100 days gf x

Its amazing how quickly a focussed mind and some good old fashioned will power can start to make positive things happen.
