just joined ! new start DAY 1

Day 2 ! And have a few things planned , hospital and work. To get to work have to walk past around 3 betting shops but after Joining this website and reading a few stories and losing alot 2 days ago the thought of roulette/slots doesn't even bother me .

Well done on firstly admitting to your problem.

My advice to you....self exclude yourself from the 3 betting shops you walk past. That way the temptation to bet is taken away and you can focus on your day ahead.

Keep going.

Day 3 ! Even thou its earlier days i feel good , and things to do today to keep my mind of gambling even thou it's been 3 days I feel good and want to keep it going . And thanks Matt , that's what I tend to do just think about when I lost loads of money and how bad I felt now I just enjoy what I got 🙂

Well done mate coming on here,u will get lots of support here.i am also 3 days not gambling today and hope tomorrow will be 4. Av been on and off here fo few years now but I really hope from bottom of my heart this time its all over.al keep a look out for u hazza and drop you a few words on your page each week since we have stopped at the exact same time.hopefully we can get to xmas bet free encouraging each other along the way. Yeah cheers scot means a lot ! Yea it's been 3 days now and I look back and think how addicted I was but never wanted to admit it . We are all here for one reason and that is to stop wasting our lives gambling on a very destructive addiction

Look forwards and upwards now to a gambling free world it is there

You just have to make that right choice each day to abstain from it

By keeping strong and positive you will win each day too cos you have not wasted your money on gambling

Feel good , of course I have thought about going to bookies but it only takes me to think how I felt when I lost loads and that thought makes me think that what's the point ?? Feel so angry with myself !!! Went into the bookies today even thou I spent 10 and made 40 then lost it all ! This is just showed me how bad I am ! Just feel like I let myself down really need to really stop this
