Day 350 - 50 Weeks

Chuffed to have reached another big target of 50 weeks..... amazing when I think how bad my gambling had become to have stopped completely for so long, only two weeks to go until the big one!

Bit down at the mo, lots of work stress and can't seem to do anything right... but i will get there.

Looking forward to another gamble free week.

Cheers, Jim

Day 365 - 1 Year

Well, I have made my first major goal a year without a bet of any sort be it sports, random, fruity or whatever. I cannot say it has been easy as it hasn't but it has got easier and I hardly ever think of gambling anymore.

Nothing in my life resembles the mess that was this time last year, I live in a different city, I have a different job, I don't smoke, I have lost 2 stone in weight, I am debt free, happy and all of this was made possible by simply giving up gambling.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of this site for their help over the last year, some of you won't even know you have helped as I just read diarys and reflect without comment, but without this site & it's members the early days would have been impossible to deal with.

I will not gamble.

Cheers,

Jim

Hi Jim, congratulations on a years gamble free. It's really important that there are people like yourself on this site. New diaries need to see success stories and you are a clear example of this. Well done fella and long may it continue. Russ
