Day 538

Most boring weekend ever, up and down like a freaking yoyo. Anyway hoping to get out of the house today, I haven't spent any money all weekend.... that would never have happened before I gave up gambling, better off being bored than going bankrupt.

Cheers, Jim

As you say Jim being bored is so much nicer than being bankrupt.

Hope things get less boring during the week.

All the best

keep going Jim, you know its worth it in the end!!

I am on day 23 and just about to go to work away (this is when I would really go to town and gamble everything) so I have a testing 3 days ahead, but I am hoping by the weekend I will be on day 26,7 and 8!!

Day 552

Had a great weekend, hometown to see my mates and back now but really enjoyed a good drink. No thoughts of gambling.... all my mates gamble or have given up so there is a need to put my guard up a little higher than normal - but all is well.

Bring on another week.

Cheers, Jim

Day 574 without a single bet.

Thanks for the note ands, I hope you are ok.

I thought of making a clean break from Gamcare and just getting on with my life, but not so sure that is a good idea at the moment.

Just read a couple of new members posts, quite upsetting to be honest. I will never ever gamble again, I fu*king hate it. Just creates pain for so many people.

Never again.

Jim

Hi Jim

574 days is amazing...well done.

I gave Gamcare a break, and it didnt help. I think myself i need constant reminding of the need to stop. I am on day 9, and already feeling better for it and more positive. But i know from past attempts that I need to stay strong and get the support off people that is needed.

I too hate gambling and will do everything to never do it again.

Keep up the good work!

Matt
