Day 595

I wouldn't consider myself inspirational.... the years leading up to me quitting were simply awful. But I guess I do show that it can be done.

Keep on it Andrew it is worth it I promise, my life is completely different and a million times better without gambling. Really there is no comparison. Do everything you can to abstain from gambling and life will get better much quicker than you expect.

Go for it!

Cheers, Jim

Day 610

Thanks ands, I did enjoy the weekend - hope you did too. Not much happening here, back to work today which has been a struggle but seemed to make some progress.

Glad I didn't bet on the snooker - would have taken a hammering, another fortune saved.

Cheers, Jim

Day 636

In the middle of my week off, not really going anywhere as I cannot afford it but by Christmas all my debts will be paid off, which is pretty amazing considering the amount I had two years ago!

I am going to make sure we go away in September!

Looking forward to a few beers this afternoon.

Cheers, Jim

Hi Jim,

Inspirational stuff. I'm on Day1 and I can't wait for the day that I'm debt free, which I think I can do in 1000days (pretty much like yourself). Your progress so far is brilliant - and the fact you've regularly posted for the last 2 years proves that you've not become complacent. Keep up the good work, and keep posting.
