Congratulations Mixer on 100 Days GF. You have certainly had a massive impact on the diaries and helped a lot of people.

Enjoyed reading the Sunday Rollcall on the Guru Challenge. I am back to day 3 but I treasure that 3 days and am hungry for more. I won't give in again. Take care. Stephen

Thank you so much, everyone, for your kind messages. I am touched and they are very appreciated.

It helps galvanise me for the days, weeks and months ahead and hope, in some small way, I'm helping you too as we all strive towards that common goal - a happier, gambling-free life 🙂

Once again, thank you.

Mixer

Hi Mixer. Sorry your household is full of cold, hope the lemsips do the trick.

As always the Weekly Rollcall on the Guru Challenge was good to read and very inspiring.

I am only on day 11 but determined to get to the Guru status of 500 days. If i don't have a dream how am I going to have a dream come true! Surely after 500 days I will finally be able to put it all behind me.

Thank you for your kind comments, everyone.

46 and Out - may I pass reciprocal congratulations to you hitting your ton-up a couple of weeks ago!

4D - you are not far away my friend - in two weeks you'll hit triple-digits too!

Abstainer - I'm a lot better today, back at work - the Lemsips, indeed, did the trick! You'll be a Guru - I sense your inner strength and determination. "Happy talking" (talking) helps to 😉

Morning Mixer. Enjoyed reading the Weekly Rollcall on your Guru Challenge thread. Good to see friends gamble free as christmas approaches.

Really impressed with your progress, 122 days gamble free and done with hope, humour and a positive determination.

I'm on the recovery road for good now. One day at a time will work for me. Guru status of 300 days is achievable and that's where i'm heading.

Thank you for your kind words Stephen , sorry I'm a few days late in responding!

We'll both hit that Guru status and toast each other when we're both in that select status band.

Take care, keep well, my friend.

Just enjoyed reading your weekly rollcall on the Guru Challenge thread. Great food for thought, interesting and informatve.

I am on a mission to reach the Guru status of 300 days gamble free. I will get there one day at a time and see how I feel than.

Thank you for the help and support you give your fellow travellers.

Hi Abstainer - thank you once again for your kind words, they are always appreciated, my friend.

I took part in a 'fun' office quiz - it was fun actually - concentrating on 80s/90s pop - my 'era'. Whilst I recognised many songs I couldn't name many tracks/artist(e)s. It brought home to me precisely how much time I wasted gambling during those years when I could've been really enjoying music concerts and the rest of it. Compulsive gambling dramatically reduced my breadth and depth of other things I could have been doing, and my memories - the quality, anyway - are reduced as a result. But no more.

That is so true Mixer. Gambling took away so much from our lives.

When I've snuffed it and my brain is scrutinized, the angel Gabriel is going to be shocked with all the gambling garbage.

Wishing you and ypur family every happiness over christmas and the new year.

I will be honoured to share the recovery road with your good self in 2018.

Hi Mixer hope your having a good relaxing christmas evening.

I have just read your weekly update on the Guru Challenge thread which I thought was brilliant, informative and good food for thought.

Many thanks both for your contributions to the diaries and the support you give to myself and other travellers.
