I have done nothing extra if im being honest. Ive used my willpower and i have read this website every day and got great advice and strength on other diaries.
I had some personal issues other than gambling this last few weeks but they are fixed now. So my local meeting is on early next week(already past this week) so i will go! As for counselling is it available free in NI? certainly cannot afford it! Debts are already coming down slowly but surely.

Day 47 no bet. Have had a few dreams about gambling...the ones that are good fun and kind of make me think gambling is great(until i wake up and feel relieved i havent had a bet). I felt some urges today but easy enough to push away because memories of pain still fresh in my mind. Still havent been to a meeting yet! I work to 10-1030ish every second week that my local meeting is on (starts at 8 so is not possible but is on my weeks off).

Its a pride thing...id like to get to 90 days and show them boys in meeting that im doing okay....unfortunately thats what has cost me all the last year..when i try get to 90 and fall at 50-60 days...4-5 times its happened last 15-16 months.

Anyway ..getting away from all that..i want to keep strong and keep going. Hope everyones doing well

You don't need to prove yourself to anyone else...Better to go now & get their support than risk the happy feelings winning over the regret!
