Hey there my dear friend.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for checking in on me and seeing how I'm doing.

Since you have found this site you have gone from strength to strength and I for one draw from that. Things are tough in Sabine's world at the moment, but I truly believe they happen for a reason, one, I cannot understand at this moment in time, but I am sure it will reveal itself at some stage in my life. Just gotta concentrate on dealing with the emotions.... as long as I have friends like you I will be fine.

Love and Hugs to you and yours.

God Bless

Sabine xx

Hi wp.

Great to see you still going strong mate. I love the way the urge for you to gamble has faded with time.

Not long until 1 year gamble free for you and you deserve to reach that milestone so much.

Top man.

Thanks for the posts. ..yesterday by the simplicity of my phone I got myself yet another pay day loan. ..whilst I don't get paid till next week ,and getting myself into more financial trouble, I took it upon myself to get tickets for the pantomime. ..just seeing the families faces laughing and smiling at the show made it all worthwhile :-)...absolute priceless :-)...this time last year ???? enough said !!! Today I won't bet, tomorrow I won't bet, we can do this 🙂

Hi wp.. I see that your resolve and determination is just as strong as ever and the support you show to others including me is just awsome.. thank you.

At the moment I am logging in several times a day thats for sure. I find I still have to use this place pretty intensively because the support I have away from here is limited and i really do not want to gamble. I learn from bitter experince how easy it is just to start gambling again.

I notice that those that make it for the long term tend to either

a. Have lots of close family/partner support and/or

b. Are actively involved in GA and/or recovery forums and/or

c. Completley change thier environment and life circumstance.

My experince is that will power in and of itself tends not to be enough.

Anyway am rambling.. you know yourself how well you are doing. Keep going.. S.A

Hi wp,

Yes, family time is so, so important at this time of the year and so pleased to hear that you enjoyed the panto.

And there will be many more enjoyable times like these ahead.

Savour them!
