Hey, was just catching up on your diary, far too many pages to get through all at once.... 🙂 but was wondering if yoiu had managed to stay gamble free.... fortunately I skipped tom page 265 and saw the 350 marker mentioned - thats awesome so very well done to you. Then to see your excitement about christmas and ok still having debt but at least youre working on it

Hi wp, I may give that chippy a go on my way back tomorrow evening! I know the ski slope..I think it's call hill end. I learnt to ski there when I was a small lad before our school trip to Braemar! Anyway, keep up the good work and it's always good to hear from you. Russ

Thanks for the post mate. It's great to see that you are still doing so well and i'm sure that you will stay resolute over the x-mas period. Great idea to go and see that panto too. Although it can be really tough getting the debts sorted, you always have to have a little treat every now and again to make it all worth while. Well done pal.

Oh wp I got a warm fuzzy feeling when I logged in and read that today! It's been a while my pal but I always hope for you and Seano and my friends from here and though I am always confident you two are gonna beat this, it's a relief when you get the written reassurance that things are still going well!

thanks as always my friends....i havent been around much this week,been busy building bridges round by and so far its been great 🙂 thats not to say ive not been busy reading or posting with wee snippets here and there....i will fully catch up in due course my friends because your diaries are vital in my recovery.in a selfish point of way good to see stumper back...he has helped so many myself included and talks a lot of sense sometimes apart from his jokes lol...talking of which fifa president sepp blatter was asked who his favourite qatar player was...a toss up between jimmi hendrix and eric clapton was his reply :-D..sorry folks ..today i wont bet tomorrow i wont bet,we can do this my friends 🙂

thank you kim and seano 🙂 edit to yesterdays quick post....another payday.....payday loan paid off,bought concert tickets for kids and gave ex money for christmas presents....will need another loan to tick over into new year but as we know its an expensive time of the year....compared to this time last year the loans were funding my gambling....without meaning to sound big headed as this illness will always be with me but thinking about winding down this diary now (far too many pages for newbies to read) and starting a new chapter with a brief update...today i wont bet,tomorrow i wont bet we can do this folks 🙂

Hi wp.. surprised to hear that your thinking of winding down your diary. One option could be to edit for first entry to give a summary of your first year gambling free (for newbies etc) and then update your diary as and when you want to.

You know me ive tried a couple of times to start a new diary but always end up coming back to the original as you suggested. I don't care how long it gets.. its a part of my recovery from gambling addiction and it works so i keep using it. All the best.. S.A

Likewise i too was surprised to read you are thinking about winding down your diary and starting a new one.

Me personally i think that by sticking to the same diary gives everyone especially new users a chance to read about your progress made and the ups and downs that you have faced and gone through without having to seek out your older diary to see how things have gone . Thats just my view though. This is your diary and i will always follow your progress beit on this one or another..
