Keep going Dan! Keep fighting! It’s madness that we all have this problem that brings us to this place. We’re all dealing with this everyday while we have to go through all the other stuff that gets thrown at us in life. It’s so sad for people who are good people just inflicted with a problem. I’d do anything to be free from it.
Day 8
Early start for me today. Back to work after a week off.
Eager to get up to double figures now. It always feels better to see two digits.

I had a really productive day at work today and rarely thought about my struggles. I’m feeling much happier in myself and I think it’s because I’m back at work and able to get on with the working day without dwelling on my past losses due to gambling.

Day 9
Really struggling to get up for work today. Thankfully, this is for no other reason other than it’s flippin freezing outside and I want to stay in bed!
I’m starting to feel a little more like myself after a difficult 9 days or so.
I went for a quick run last night but only managed 3.5km before I started tightening up. Must have been the cold weather and not warmed up enough.
Anyway, best make a move out of bed soon. Reluctantly.

Well done Dan you are going really well. Good job on running too, I'm a bit rubbish at running in the evening - I lack motivation unless I go in the morning. Hope Tuesday has been good.
Day 10
Another bitterly cold morning. But that won’t dampen my spirits as I head towards another gamble free day.
I’ve got my coffee in bed with Magic FM. Bliss. Much better than waking up with some form of hangover. Whether it be alcohol or gambling related.

Wow! Red alert eh? Should you even be travelling? Our workplace closed at midday today and is shut again tomorrow.

Day 11
Must admit I’m finding it quite difficult today simply because I’m housebound due to the snow. I’m trying very hard to keep busy but there are inevitably breaks in the day that make me stop and think/dwell.
However, I simply must not gamble today. That is my one and only rule.

Well done on reaching day 11 and for posting, you know you have to do whatever it takes to refrain from acting on those urges so keep yourself busy, watch something on TV or even have a sleep if become low or urges are high, you are right do anything else but gamble!
