Day 29

Not posted for few days........Hmmmmm not quite sure how to explain!

I believe that there is someone on here who is not who they say they are..........That person knows who they are (gamcare have been informed)

Have made a descision to carry on with my diary....For once in my life after always doing things for others, this is about ME.....This diary has helped me so much in overcoming my gambling problem...And I will not let anyone from my hidious past come back and haunt me!

So Sue...sticking two fingers up!!!!

Good for you in sue sometimes recovery is selfish , put yourself first thats whats most important for now I found other things then just fell into place because I was better equipped. Keep going your doing really well . Blondie xx

Hey Sue,

Great to see you still remaining gamble free. Caught a couple of posts recently where you mentioned things have not been straightforward for you. Well obviously I don't know the circumstances but many of us deal with issues alongside the gambling and it's a real testament to those people that stay strong in the face of adversity. So, I congratulate you wholeheartedly on remaining bet free this week.

Day 30

Pretty whacked worked all weekend and got really long day tomorrow, have to drop a service user who is going on holiday.....prob 12 hour day, but on the bright side ..have a day off Tuesday!

Been thinking quite a bit today about the last few days. Must admit a very very small part of me thought "just go and gamble" But in reality I think what has happened has made me even more determined to beat this. Life is full of up's and downs and because something doesnt go right in our life this should not send us to the demon gambling gods!

Gambling for me was definately a form of escapism, not any more........I can face anything anyone throws at me now!!!
