Wilsy,

Thinking of you pal. Stay strong until you get to your meeting. I walked through the door about six weeks ago and haven't gambled since. I actually look forward to going. Humbling experience.

Tomso.

DAY 3 Today

GA Meeting went well on Thursday night, I felt pleased to be back part of a great group of people, all who understand and are in a similar position to me.

Not had a bet have been close a couple of times but they were just thoughts. Had a great company golf day yesterday and played 18 holes. I am so unfit and when I got home at 6, I went straight to sleep and didn't wake up until this morning. I ache all over and maybe I do need to exercise more instead of gambling.

Thanks Tomso and Duncan for your continued support, feeling determined

Hi Wilsy

I hope that you have some success soon. I find diaries like yours very eye opening as it makes it obvious to me ( on day one of my first attempt ) that it can all go wrong even when you are full if confidence for a few weeks.

Can I ask how you gambled when you first relent to the urges? My first strategy is to make it as close to impossible for me to gamble so I am permanently excluded from every online site I know. Is this something you've done? It's pretty hard to get around.
