Hey rach
Just wondered how your doing love.....I've caught up a bit with your diary and see your case is coming up soon love....
I hope you've sought good legal advice hun. ....
When my daughter faced fraud charge against employer I actually wrote to the judge in the guidance of her solicitor. ...as a mum and nanny ( her baby was 10 mnths ).... i wrote from the heart....yes i knew shed done wrong and was dissapointed in
her etc ....I knew she was sorry ...like you she admitted it before caught etc.....but I'm her mum....I loved her..and i didn't want or feel any good would come from a prison sentence...anyway...she was given a suspended sentence and community service order...so I'm just trying to give you some hope....stay strong....and stay away from those slots.....you can do it love x

Hi Loxxie,

Thank you for commenting and giving me some hope! I've actually recently found out I'm pregnant again (3 months now!) so I'm even more worried! I don't know what to do about the court case, I'm waiting for my solicitor to get back to me. It's not going to trial so when do I get to explain my side and what I'm doing to get help?

I am praying for a suspended sentence but I'll have to wait and see. It's all I think about and keeps me up at night. I want it all to be over with so I can move on and focus solely on my family and giving my children a good life. Did your daughter steal a Lot? Did she have a long suspension? I still can't believe this is all happening. So scared of going into court! Think the first time Is for the plea only?

Hey rach
Congratulations on the baby news love....
The amount was 3k
Which was paid back before it even went to police etc...I personally took it into her employer as it was an old school mate ....
Her sentence was one year suspended and 100 hours community service .....
First offence...
Your solicited should be telling you exactly what will / may happen...hers was convinced she would get custodial....so who knows ....get letters... help from midwife....health visitor....etc. ..
Speak to gp about your addiction. ...he can then write to the judge saying your seeking help....
I'm sorry I can't be more help....but I really feel it comes down to the judge on the day....keep strong love.x

Thank you little miss lost.

Today I am not so good. My mum has my little boy so I can have the day to myself which I don't know is a Good thing. I'm waiting to hear from my solicitor but this not knowing what's going to happen to me is so hard. My main concern is goinh to prison but I am also very worried that it will be published and that everyone will hate me and think differently of me. I can't believe what I have become over this ridiculous addiction 🙁

I hope things work out for you x

Rach. ...stay strong....I'm sure the uncertainty of the future is awfull to cope with....
Have you thought about what I said....speak to midwife...gp. ..healthvisitor...any professional body who may write to the court for you...
I can't comment on sentence. ..
But I'm dam sure it will hit local paper...
I can remember having to open my pub the day my daughter's case was in the print....actually..it was ok....usual tutters...but so what.....
Use this time love to get as much help as you can with regards the court case....yes...you've done wrong....like my daughter did...but custodial is no use to anybody....
Get all the help you can do to show the judge your fighting your addiction .....xx

I have been in court today and got an 8 month suspended sentence, 12 months supervision and 150 hours community service. The judge said I was very close to prison. Hope yours goes well Rach and All.

My offence is way worse than everyone's put together! It makes me sick to think that was actual money that I took and blew on stupid slots! Arrrghhh why did I even start this??

I just don't want it to be a big story online so it gets shared around everyone. You know how harsh people can be. My company don't want to see me go to prison and there is no trial so I'm hoping people don't make a huge deal out of it.

You just don't know how the judge will be on the day, I'm hoping they go easy on me. I don't have a case to put forward, I'm still waiting on the solicitor to call me back. It's scaring me now as i have no information on any of it or what I am meant to do before the court date.....

Hey. ...you do have a case to put forward...you are in the grip of a vile addiction.......you're doing your upmost to tackle it.....
Speak to the professionals I said about in previous posts....
Badger your solicitor for information....
If the judge sees that your fighting your addiction and seeking help from professionals it may well help with your sentencing...
I obviously can't guarantee that love....but it certainly won't go against you...he can only make his decision on evidence he has in front of him....
Maybe your mum could help you get in touch with a few people today....stay strong....and don't let this scarey time send you to a slot machine love. ...take care x

It went in my favour that I had been using the gamcare counselling service, the Probation highlighted it in their report especially as I had done 10 sessions with them.
