Hello Samuel
Thank you for sharing your experience. I can hear you’re going through a really difficult time with how much you’ve lost and the impact all this is having on your mental health.
It sounds like you have been supporting your loved ones but have found this more challenging recently and I imagine this has been hard for you. You’ve also mentioned losing weight and having a lot of anxiety as well as feeling you have nothing to live for. This all sounds incredibly upsetting and isolating but I wanted to let you know you’re not alone. Â

@4f2wz6ygc5Â Well done for the post.
Stopping gambling when you are a problem gambler can be an extremely hard thing to do by yourself.
Can you talk to someone close? Is there anyone who can help restrict you access to money?
Have you put blocks in place such as banning yourself from casinos/betting shops?
Can you talk to a GP about counselling or contact GamCare for help?
The anxiety caused by problem gambling is horrible. The first step is admitting that you have a problem, you have done this, well done. The next step to taking control of the situation.
Keep posting on here, it can be a great source of encouragement. Many of us have been where you are now and some much worse.
