Hi Alan, its commendable that you are now filling your time positively with family and friends. One of the first realisations of giving up gambling is seeing what we have been neglecting. Good luv

Morning Popsicle, apols for being sooooo slooooow to the party, kept planning to write but you know how easily distracted I am ;-0

I'm so glad you didn't desert us forever 🙂 How's that wedding speech going? Haven't quite narrowed down where you are yet but figure it's somewhere near Duncs so once I do (& I have a few spare days on my hands), be warned, I'm heading down sarf for a bit of stalking followed by some deep fried something 🙂

Good to see you here and sounding so positive. I think it's a shame that your old diary has gone. There was some good stuff in there, and I think it's useful to have a record of where you've come from, but I can understand you not wanting it around any more. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, I suppose. Thanks for your post to me the other day, and no apology is needed. I think we cleared up any of our misunderstandings/disagreements along the way...all's good with me.

Sorry to hear your hip's giving you gyp. Is it arthritis? Or shrapnel from an old war wound?!!

251 and counting...good for you. Speak soon. LB x

You're a s0d, you really are. I'm very gullible and you had me going there with the cow tipping. It was only at the very end I realised it was a joke. I should have known...and now I have the image of your plum bush to brighten up my afternoon, so thanks for that 🙂

Thanks for your kind words about my posts to Joan. She says a lot of things that I can relate to. I read lots of posts but only reply to a few mostly because I'm never really too sure what to say. I get a lot out of reading people thoughts though. Sometimes I agree, sometimes not...but there's often a learning in there for me somewhere. I'm glad you posted to her.

Strangely, I quite like your idea of living life backwards! It's sounds much better than your deep fried jaffa cake idea...really, is that a thing?!

Anyway. Have a good one x

No, no, no, no, no! Deep fried Jaffa Cakes...Nooooooo! So very wrong on so many levels ;-0 You'll be telling me it's a biscuit next (& for those doubters out there, I don't want to hear it...the clue is in the title)!

Rubbish news about your hip 🙁 & hope you do qualify for the op! I cannot get over mine lately, even the Full Moon MoonWalk didn't break it! Although the same can't be said for the bottom of my feet...Note to self, no matter how comfortable trainers are on the 5 mile training walk (the instructions may have suggested slightly farther), Compeede up for anything over that! Do you know what has caused yours? Don't wanna put mine under any undue pressure if you have any serious suggestions of stuff to avoid!

I think Tri's just asked me for an update on Mrs D so I'll get to all the boring stuff then!

POPS a rock & chips on hold for me plz, see what I did there 🙂 Oh dear, laughing @ my own jokes (sigh) now 🙁

Hi, Alan,

I see we've been agreeing on other diaries without having spoken directly. Well done on your 250 plus, better late to the party than never.
