Hi Stace,
Ā
I recently slipped and it felt like I undone the hard work I tried to stride towards but is it addiction trying to tell me that I'm complete failure? Probably it is and we both know the drill and that sinking feeling but above all those negative and devastating thoughts- our beings remain. Our pure souls trying to do that right thing. And ok, it may take more goes than we expect but we must not give in to this. We are better,Ā way better than addiction and have a lot to look forward to.Ā Your children and partner are your focus to keep on on keeping on. You love them dearly and I know you're trying your best to be there for them.
Please look for support. Do anything what needs to be done to allow you that breather. Let it be minute at a time. Sometimes that's all what's needed. That distraction from the urge. I am not saying it's easy, d**n, I'm in the same boat but use those moments of clarity to put some blocks in place. I'm sure you get those moments and you had enough of this cycle, be kind to you, allow yourself some space for clarity to take place.

You should never be an example. You're a fighter remember,Ā so stand up and continue this battle for survival and better times ahead. They're possible and you deserve it...and you will get there, you absolutely will. Give yourself that chance.
