Thanks for the post jeff much appreciated. You've helped me through out the years probably been on here about 3 years, can't be far off - I've had a few usernames kept coming back but with a new user, who knows why, anyway I'm still battling but made some great strides last year and am looking forward to this year to really kick on with my life. Congrats on the 3 years that's amazing. It's great to hear how you've turned your life around. Enjoy your new life it's greatly deserved.

Hi Jeff.

Thanks for welcoming me back. As you know we both started here around the same time and it therefore gives me great pleasure to see how you have turned your life around. Top man and a shining example to all.

Time to start walking the walk for me. If I vanish for a while then you know why. I think I will stick around this time though.

Roll on March 16th for our annual 3 points at Goodison!

Hi Jeff.

Cheers for your continued support. I was reading through my first ever diary before and it was good to reminisce about a time when you were in the first few months of recovery. I don't think I ever doubted you at any time big man. A lesson to us all that if we want something enough and are determined to achieve it then it will be done.

I've a feeling we might be meeting at Wembley in a few months so I'll pop back then!

Today i will watch Cheltenham for the spectacle that it is.

I dont know what will win any race and i dont care.

It will cost me nothining, just as watching the football costs me nothing.

These days i watch all of the game not just tracking my player whom i have money on to score the first goal and i shall watch all the race instead of keeping my eye on my horse. Its great to be able to watch sport without it costing me anything and i hope it will happen to everyone on here.

Of course i must always stay vigilant, but why go back to a life of hell, when i know the grass is definatley greener on the otherside and i would not recomend anyone to watch any racing if they feel it would hinder theier progress. horse racing addicts should be extra carefull over the next few days.Stay strong all Jeff.

Hi Jeff.

Just back from a golf trip and popping by for my annual gloat. Can we play you every week? Strange how we reserve our best every season for your visit to GP. Still we are out of the cup so you have a chance in that!

All the best big man.

Post much appreciated Jeff, to be described as a great friend to you is humbling. I have read your early posts and know how much you struggled when you first joined the Forum but for me since the point I joined you have always led the way in terms of an example to follow, in your continued determination and successful abstinence and with continual encouragement and support for me and so many others.
