I knew you were a fat bloke by the way you post :(( LOL , I'm only kidding !!.

I've struggled with keeping my weight down all my life if I'm honest , sometimes I've been really trim and others I've looked like the biggest " Russian doll " of the set if you know what I mean , which is why I have diabetes as all that Yo yo ing's not good as Tom Hanks will testify to ( Least I'm in good company though ) . Since I've began to take control of my sugars it's a lot better and despite not being able to exercise at the mo it's pretty stable at the moment :))

We sound a lot alike with the whole recovery thing buddy as I'm a bit of the thinking that If I can't do it for myself then who will right ? So I can understand your approach , I'm doing ok so something must have registered in this old bonce of mine !

Same with the gambling , no real issues with it as it was always fun as a kid watching people enjou themselves with a flutter , a real gambling houshold wher I'd always get the loose change of any winnings ( what's not to like ?) but in later life it was pure escapism , worked hard played hard and it gave me some downtime , my only regret is not being able to control it when it all became very silly :(( ( you sure were not related ? ) .

Again like you I'm still not sure if I'm in recovery but if I don't gamble again then I'll take that thank you very much , it certainly feels different this time and I really don't think about gambling as there's many new things that I've allowed into my life these days that just weren't able to get a look in before so things must have changed for the better :))

Your right about this place as well , it got to me the last couple of weeks , things at home didn't help with the kids and stuff, then I dwell on other peoples posts with mixed feelings , happiness sadness anger , all show there face and it kind of gets thrown into a big mixer and I think f it I'll walk away but being here keeps it all real for me as well so it's not all bad , just doing what people with my starsign do and scurrying back into my shell .

I'm feeling better today so thats a plus point and I've always got me old buddy Deano to share life's ups and downs with to boot , so all's good :)) .

Maybe have a picture of Bear Gryll's as yer profile then if you feel your in the wilderness with just a knife ?? .

Keep on running brother and you'll get to where you want to be real soon :)).

Deano, hey you cannot contemplate leaving the forum, who is going to share orange chips with me? PEople will miss your advice and support. I've got your card ready for your 100 days and hope you have ordered the cake. Speaking of cake o*g I've eaten so much of it today but it was for charity, some staff baked cakes, sliced them up and sold them for charity , guess who had 3 large slices? Them Spanx are going to have to come back out again but I'm still gf and will be tomorrow too. I really don't miss it, I've only ever been in a betting shop 3 times in my life as my vice was online slots. Have a good weekend and I will see you at your party x

Hello Mate !! . I'm not too bad really , still feelin a bit " Blaaaaah" though , nothings really wrong it's just the time of year, lots of things still to do and a few other things in the mix but nothing serious though :)) .Middle one had his 7th birthday yesterday all went well and lots of cake in the ball pit ( and no that wasnt' any sort of joke for once ) and to coin a phrase they all slept like babies last night :))

Think the dog's will have to wait for a while longer yet as still no word on a date but I'll keep hobbeling along like the little soldier I am for a while , I'll be all good when I finish work at the weekend and can get things sorted for xmas , it goes really quiet around here as the navy's on leave and the students go home for the festive period , so a good time for some R&R :))

While I'm here and youv'e got me out of bed I might as well send you my hearty confibulations for tommorow good buddy :)) .

Well done mate on arriving at the century club gates , I'll send you the spare key so you can let yourself in the morning :)) , I knew youd get here eventually and it's a pleasure to welcome you to the club , you seem much more focused and at ease or at peace with yourself this time around and I'm genuinely chuffed to bits for you Deano , I don't post as much these days but I still keep an eye on and see all the great support you offer those on the forum :)).
