Hey Castle..

It just goes to show does'nt it ..that no matter what side of the forum we are on we are all at heart struggling to deal with the same emotions and struggles ....

We are all in this together and maybe all on the same path in a way but just joining it from different in roads...

Your prescence on this site always makes me feel good inside and your support and kindness is something I also have grown to rely on when I log in no matter how often you post...

busy times ahead for us ....hugs R and D xx

Spoke with solicitor yesterday as had a final form to fill in wanting all pension details which will take bout 2 weeks to get from my work , once thats done a date at court can then be booked which is bout another 4 weeks , that takes us up to end of Jan but with xmas and my ever disbelieving solicitorsI can probably add another month onto this

So already not the start for next year I was looking for but this is something I will just av to deal with it mentally its a big blow the reality is life goes on and get on with it , I av saved every letter from my solicitor and when this is all done I am goin to write to them with every detail of how they av treated me , I av already expressed my concerns but at the moment I just want my divorce finalised the stress of it all is enough without getting involved in arguments bout what a very poor job they av done

Still holding it all together but like many with xmas coming up feel very vunerable and need to be careful , feel very bitter towards solicitors and I know I need to let that go I can't deal with that now but will when the time comes

Working weekend ahead so that will keep me busy and with my daughter in between should get through it without too much stress

Hiya castle. Thanks for your post. I'm looking forward to the darts but think Taylor may have one last trick up his sleeve this year, gonna be a great tournament that's for sure.

Yeah you can't let the solicitors stress you out, easier said than done I know. But you've done a great job so far and the time will come when you can let them have it. Not to far away now and all of this will be over.

Hi Castle...

Yep..solicitors...pull up a chair as this could be a long one....also for different reasons had to deal with them over the years and the concept of doing anything "quick" does not feature as they tend to drag everything out and charge you for more letters.

Very frustrating for you and also I totally get what you say about a psychological new start and a firm closure on this year....You WILL get that I guarnatee... and then will know where you stand and what you have for your future rather than feeling in permanent limbo all the time .

This is where the day at a time comes in....a mental trick I have done is to take it as tax year to tax year ..April to April rather than Jan to Jan ...that has kinda helped a bit and taken some resentment away,..on the legal front there is an Ombusman I think you can file a complaint to.

One time I got so mad with my solicitors as every day i was ringing and was told "he's on lunch"..all at different times of the day ..then one time I rang in the morning and got the same reply and then in the afternoon on the same day and they said "he's on holiday!"...I said "You lot had better get your story straight"..

When this is all over Castle...we shall also celebrate closure of the past and raise a toast to that...along with g/free days...

hugs and your working week, daughter and GC will keep you sane xx

Hi Castle,

Feel for you....Bloo** solicitors........biggest rip off in Britain!

Rach is right.....wait till it's all done then contact the ombusman. My friend is also having really hard time with her solicitor, no return calls, no e mail......How the h*ll are they allowed to get away with it?

I have every faith in you Castle, once it is all sorted out your stress levels will go down and you will get back to hopefully being "you" again.

James for x factor!
