Hi Scambling, it’s a terrible time of year for loneliness 🙁 It certainly does sound like depression & a trip to your GP may be a good idea but you also need to find a way to stop isolating. I understand that this is easier said than done when you have zero energy & zero inclination but you have to make these changes somehow. Try a meeting, gym class, volunteering, anything that means you aren’t alone with your thoughts & feelings! As addicts, we can be lonely in a room full of people but @ least then, we’re not actually alone.
