211 days , nice break for easter and the weather s been great.

Had to take the dog to the vets, as wasnt improving hes broke his crucial ligament , spent 250 getting xrays and pain meds and the op is going to cost 2 grand plus could be on meds rest of his life which are 50 quid a pop! Urgh wish we had an NHS for pets. Hes not insured so its coming out of our pockets. We dont have the money so paying it off over 3 years even its still a big payment and with interest!

Not good, but hey Im still gamble free!

Ohh Gav soo sorry to read about doggie, they are part of the family, and because their love and devotion is unconditional, it is upsetting yo see them poorly and in pain. They rely totally on us for everything, it's S***e you did not have insurance, but don't let this tempt you into placing a tiny bet, it won't work, because you won't stop.

211 days is fantastic, stay strong and keep focused,

Suzanne xxx

Keep your guard tightly up now, temptation may rear its ugly head,

Hi all 217 days if im correct.

Dog had his op y day, all seemed to go ok, no complications etc, but was v agitated after op so i had to come and pick him up when originally meant to stay over in vets at least one night.

He was whining a lot , but settled bit better later on in night and ended up spending the night with the wife and me.

Anyway hopefully hes getting better, hard seeing them suffer. He'll prob be out of action for around 3 months, and have to sort the finances out next week , which will be tough going!

Still gamble free more importantly !

Hi Gav, lovely to see your little man as always 😉

Glad the op went without complication...Our Lab was rotten when he came round from being anaesthetised but it quickly passed! I have my fingers very much crossed for your 4 legged friend to make a full & speedy recovery! Money sucks but you'll be paid back every penny & more in love & loyalty! I know it doesn't pay the bills but there are some things in life you cannot put a price on! You'll figure out those finances somehow now that Mr Gamble is no longer bleeding you dry!

Keep making the right choices - ODAAT

224 days , loving this nice weather, doggie recovering from op pretty well now, his head guard is driving him nuts and hes banging into everything in the house, he just cant get used to it.

Hes starting to try and use the leg again, and hes off to the vets on Thursday to get his stitches out. Then we have to sort out paying him eek.

No real urges etc through this period, but i know from previous history how easy a slip up can occur. Be vigiliant all!
