Good attitude Ben and keep focused on what matters. Keep sharing and supporting others. I know how much help i get from this site. Tri
Hi Ben not heard from you for a few days. Hope that's because you are able to do lots of things in your new gamble free life
Stay safe
Ben said he was going to Ibiza on Monday just gone, so I'm guessing he is sunning himself (grrr), while we are dodging the rain downpours lol.
Oh yea forgot bout that cheers steve
morning guys!
i have just returned from ibiza and i am pleased to say i am still gamble free!! 36 days and i feel better than ever. it was payday over the weekend for me and i still havent had a thought about gambling, even with the euros being on, which is such an achievement for me!
Cala llonga in ibiza was beautiful, i had an amazing time and i am now going to carry on gamble free and look forward to my next holiday at the end of august.
i hope you are all well and ill catch up on all youre diaries in work this week.
Stay safe
Ben 🙂
day 37, nothing new to report
feeling happy
That great news Ben, you'll soon be at the half a century mark.
Always good to have something to focus on, continue to not gamble and you'll have paid for the holiday and spending money by the time you go.
checking in on day 38.
just wanted to say how good it feels to have a bank statement with no gambling transactions on it!
looking forward to reaching the 50 day milestone now, onwards and upwards.
Cheers steve for the comment, much appreciated
Great work Ben....I always try to remember how good these things feel so when you get the urge to bet you can always think back on them.
Well done on the 38 days....50 will be here in no time.
Damo
Hi Ben,
Thanks for your message. I really appreciate it. I know exactly what you mean about loving the fact that you can get a bank statement with no gambling transactions on it. Feels great doesn't it!
Best wishes
Dave
Hi damo and dave,
again i cant thank you enough for the replies, they really do spur me on.
Day 39 today and i really feel like i am progressing however i will not let my guard down and become complacent. i know this is an ongoing battle and i will ensure i dont let things slip. no real urges at the moment but my biggest challenge will be when the football season starts, as football betting was my weakness. having holiday blues at the moment from ibiza, we had a really nice time and work seems to be dragging. anyway 39 days and counting!

day 40, had a small urge to have a bet last night watching portugal and poland. i dismissed this urge immediately and gave my head a wobble. my brother has just turned 18 and is having small bets more and more often. i have spoke to him of the dangers of becoming addicted however he just seems to brush it off. i just worry he will follow my path and end up a compulsive gambler too.
anyway, i am off work this weekend which i am looking forward to and im going watching my football team (bolton wanderers) in there 1st pre season friendly. hopefully ill see them win for a change. im optimistic about the new season in league 1 🙂
Catch up soon
Ben
Hi Ben

Quick check in on day 41. All good. Still gamble free. Hope you all have a top weekend
Ben
Good going Ben, heading towards that half a century mark and hopefully enjoying the benefits of a gamble free weekend. Although sadly, the weather has been pretty rubbish.
Affected by gambling?
