day 43, start of a long week for me. working 6 10 hour days for the overtime. looking to reserve a plot tonight for mine and my fiancess first house. theyre starting being built in a few months and will be ready for summer 2017. fingers crossed we can get the earlybird deposit down tonight.

Ive already saved so much money from not gambling and this has give me even more reason to abstain.

Keeping busy and keeping the money rolling in, is still better than, sitting bored and seeing the money flowing out, due to gambling.

day 45 check in,

yes steve, extra money to reduce them debts. every penny helps.

Feeling positive again today, going to watch wales v portugal tonight relaxed whereas 45 days ago, i would of been lumping hundreds of pounds on the match. i feel so much more in control of myself now however im still keeping my guard up as i know the little voice in your head can easily come crawling back saying "just have a quick £20". we all know where that ends up. That will not happen, i will not let it.

5 days from 50 days now. happy days
Ben

Morning Ben, you are doing great. Keep it up and it'll soon be day 50!

It sounds as if you are really seeing the benefits in life from not gambling - something I also am feeling 80 days after stopping. It had become so engrained in my routine to gamble everyday or whenever I could. Breaking that habit always seemed impossible. Now it isn't and I'm looking forward to the future gamble free.

But still know in back on my mind one slip would spiral me back into that same disastrous routine so keeping my guard up!

Have a good weekend.

50 DAYS!!!!!

Feel over the moon at achieving 50 days gamble free. This for me is an unbelivable feeling as i cant remember the last time i went 50 days gamble free. i am also really proud i have got through the whole of euro2016 without a single bet.

i am going to keep my barriers up and not become complacent. the football season starts next month and this will be the real test for me. my guard is up and will be permanently staying up. i have also reduced my debt by quite abit in them 50 days gamble free.

feeling really really good today, started doing a bit of excercise too, as ive put a few lbs on on holiday!

Thanks andy for youre support, ill catch up on youre diary later today!!
Ben
