Great to see you going, very soon will be 3 months gamble free for you.

You do right to only look forward, the past is the past as they say and you can't change that, but as Doc Brown said in Back to the Future, your future is what you make it.

Wow, Bolton won away from home as well.

cheers steve, yes bolton finally won away! after 495, hopefully a few more will follow.

day 85 today, still no bet, struggled a bit over the weekend. had something in my head to tell me to have a small bet on the football. quickly dismissed it but worrying it even crossed my mind.

anyway 5 days off the 90 day mark. long week in work again so going to keep my head down and work hard.

Ben

Hi Ben, not long until the holiday and 100 days now. I still have those thoughts now and again too - it's natural. Was part of our lives for so long.

Stay strong bud, soon you will be away from it all on holiday with not a care in the world 🙂

Evening Ben been great following your progress. You seem to be doing great and putting a lot of effort in which is great to see.

Just checked the fixtures and you don't get the pleasure of taking 3 points from boundary park till April.

I don't go much anymore but if you take a trip over I live very near the ground so will meet up for a pint before the game.

No problem Ben! Likewise.

Key thing for us to remember now is that it will always be in our lives - not taking over our lives but it's there and we always need to be aware.

The forum/other people's stories tells us when people forget that, it can get the control back whenever it wants - we can't leave that door open even an inch - it will take miles!

good afternoon all,

martin - i wouldnt be so sure in saying we'll be taking 3 points from boundary park...before saturday, wed failed to of won an away match for almost 500 days! however im hoping that win will bring confidence and more will follow. we play bristol city away tomorrow night so fingers crossed for 3 points there. i will definitely be there in april and i would absolutely love to have a pint with you before the game, will arange that in due course. thanks for the comment as well, i apprecaite it big time and i cant thank you enough.

tommy - youre spot on with what you say there. it will always be with me but mentally, i can hopefully stay strong, keep barriers up and not become complacent. with them in tact, i should be able to abstain. just taking every day as it comes mate!

anyway day 86, all good today, weather lovely outside and im in work till 8 tonight. not moaning though as cyprus is only 11 days away.

Have a good day
Ben
