Day 133 brought no dramas. I will not gamble today

Really well done bessie on reaching day 134 ur second last post shows how far you have come in ur recovery a day at a time.

Thanks. Yes I have come a long way in these 135 days. A lot of changes, all for the better. I know every day will present that same challenge of not gambling. It is important that I do not become complacent thinking that I could control my betting again. This fight is for life. Day 135 I will not gamble today.

Another weekend passes with no gambling. No urges either. DAY 139 I WILL NOT GAMBLE TODAY.

Just overheard two lads talking at work about how one result had stopped him winning £800 at the weekend on the football. I couldn't help but smile. How many times had that been me, saying if only this, if only that. No gambling thoughts or urges this week. Looking forward to the weekend now. Day 141 I will not gamble today.

Continuing on gamble free. Football season nearly over which is good, one less temptation. I'm still strong and focused, determined and pround of my achievements so far. A long road ahead, but these early steps are going well. DAY 146 I WILL NOT GAMBLE TODAY.

Well done so far and great to read that you are keeping to the same routines in your head to stay strong. I see a lot of myself in your posts but I am talking weeks rather than months (for now). I do take strength, though, from yours and I fully plan to keep chasing you in time passed. Keep looking forwards and only look back to see how far you have come.

Still no temptation. I've settled in to this none gambling life now. DAY 153 I will not gamble today.

Still going strong, not gambling. It's nearly June so nearly halfway through not gambling in 2012. Enjoying this nice weather in my less stress gamble free life. Day 158 I will not gamble today or ever again.

I'm glad this week is over at work, it's tough at the moment. I work for two idiots who seem to be running the business into the ground with a series of crazy decisions. Still gamble free tho, that is the important thing. Cricket tomorrow, christening Sunday, off Monday so it's all go this weekend. Day 162 I will not gamble today.

Bank holidays passed still with no gambling. It's good to see everyone enjoying themselves at the jubilee celebrations. Euro 2012 starts Friday, in the past these footy tourns were always big gambling events for me, no more tho, i'm strong now. Day 167 i will not gamble today!!!
