Day 97
Trying to motivate myself to get up, as I've got some work to do before a 9am meeting at work. Apart from that feeling fine at the moment. Trying not to get stressed out & dealing with things as & when they happen.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Hi TheGhost,

I'm empathetic of the tensions as you reach a milestone. Nice and steady and relaxed .... and you'll glide through, and beyond, like a VIP waving their passport through customs. Steady as she sails! With you all the way.

Day 98
Mixer - Thanks for the support. Its important to stay relaxed, as the highs & lows of life can trigger us to find an escape through gambling.
Another day at work today. Nothing too stressful on though so should be OK. No urges to gamble.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Day 99
Lacking motivation to get up & go to work again today. Just got to push through these last 2 days before the weekend. No real urges to gamble at the moment, but still keeping vigilant it case they strike.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Day 100
Got that Friday feeling, & looking forward to the weekend. Glad to have made it to 100 days, but as always what I do today is the most important thing.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

May I quietly note your 100-days GF, by any measure a sign of what you've achieved. As you rightly infer, it's a point of interest, but not the finish line, which doesn't exist. You are choosing, and are continuing to choose, to live a life infinitely more preferable than the miserable alternative. I wish you well, Ghost; I'm on Day 29 and will permanently be 71 days in your slipstream!

Day 101
Mixer/Who am I/Abstainer - Thank you all for your kind comments. You've all been supportive throughout my ongoing recovery & I want you all to know that its much appreciated. Sending you all positive energy for your own personal journeys.
Up pretty early for a Saturday. Got to pop out this morning but not a lot else planned. Hopefully can watch the football on TV this afternoon. A few gambling urges last night but didn't act on them. Fully prepared to continue getting urges now & then but as long as I don't act on them it's fine.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Day 102
Up early again for a Sunday. Trying to add a bit more discipline & routine to my life. No point wasting my weekends by spending half of them in bed. Got a few chores to do today so plan to get them out of the way in the morning.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Just woke up for work. Its my last full week at work for a while so hopefully it'll pass without incident. Can hear the rain outside, & wish I could stay in bed, but going to force myself to get up & ready.

Day 104
Though my gambling problem will always be there, at the moment it feels like its taking up less & less of my conscious thoughts. Trying to get to a place where gambling is no longer who I am. This will obviously take time though, so as always just concentrating on today.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Hi TheGhost

I follow your diary every day, every morning, as I reflect on the day ahead and tell myself: just for today, I will not gamble.

It's part of my little routine that will keep me on the right path today.

Day 105
Mixer - Glad to know my diary helps you. I like to update it in the morning as part of my routine to keep me focused & to set me up for a gamble free day.
Week has been OK so far no real dramas. Feeling relaxed about the day ahead.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.

Day 106 - Feeling a bit in limbo at the moment waiting for my next payday so I can clear off one of my credit cards. Got 3 credit cards at the moment & would like to clear off 2 asap. Need to remember that money isn't my problem, gambling is. So as long as I don't gamble the credit cards will take care of themselves.
Still gamble free & just for today I will remain that way.
