Nice weekend, no gambling so happy out. Just realised that next Friday will be 4 weeks, that has just flown by. Pay day approaches this week so even better news will be able to breath again.

Pat,

Great to see you fighting back and fighting on. You can do this, you were one of the first diaries I ever read and I remember this line you wrote in one of your first posts.

No looking back, only forward to better things.

We can do this, we owe it to ourselves

Dealing with life after gambling is tough, dealing with life with gambling is hell on earth a thousand times over.

Great to see those days are soon mounting up again.

Stay strong especially around pay day.

We can do this.

Pauper, thank you so much for your post, really helped, I remember writing that.

Things are going good, pay day Thursday, can honestly say that is the toughest month I have ever put in, am not going to do that to myself again.

Wages will be spent as soon as they land but not a cent on gambling.

Keep strong all,

Pat

4weeks done, am delighted and surprised in equal measure that I got this far. Pay day yesterday really was a blessing, it's still intact and not a notion of betting.

Certainly feeling better than I was a month ago, have a very long road ahead but it's getting better

Stay strong all

Pat

Well done pat, glad to see you're back making great progress. I'm 16 days behind you,I use to be robwillwin,reformed- changed my name a couple of times in the hope of a fresh start,I feel I'm back on track now, like a couple of years ago.

Let's learn from our mistakes from the past and keep gamble free.

Keep posting,you will get there.

Hi Paddy, hope you held onto your hard-earned cash this weekend.

I'm chipping and chipping at these debts and saw a small result this week, my interest-bearing credit card went to under £4k, from £5k,still seems like I'm climbing a mountain but at least I've stopped going down.

Hi Pat,

You probably not in the bestest places right now, but cmon stand up, dust urself down and come back fighting. If you had a slip, it's not the end of the world. Many of us has them. That's how we learn

Believe in yourself and my thoughts are with you

Never give up giving up

Take care and stay safe

Day one. Leads to day two. Leads to day 3. One day at a time that's all we need to do. Don't dwell on the past but don't forget it either. Remember that gambling offers nothing but pain and misery. Keep strong and when your ready get back on here and work through it. It's bloody tough - read my first diary, a diary full of slips but you gotta keep moving in the right direction learn and grow from your mistakes. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Happy new year all. Been a little while, ups and downs but am looking forward to a positive 2014. Finances not great but nothing new there, going to knuckle down now and make some inroads into them this year.

Will aim to get on here more often and post the good and the bad.
