I have tried my best to write things that I think may help people here. Sharing experiences, stats, and tips on how to make the day a bit better. The current house rules of just being able to post in one place may seem logical but I do not feel that what I am writing is being viewed or found by people that may find my posts interesting and If I continue posting and it just falls into the last page of a diary it won't do anyone any good. So it is time to do something else. Thank you for reading my posts.
I will look in from time to time.
All the best

You have made a valuable contribution and I hope you will continue to post from time to time.
I think there is still a debates and discussions section we should make more use of.
I understand what you are saying and we can only do our best. I don't know if what I am saying helps everyone but I have had enough comments on my posts to know that it has helped some people.
I will be totally honest. Its sometimes very hard to type something when I feel the person is still highly confused, addicted and not ready to stop gambling. I try but sometimes I dont even know where to start because the person hasn't given me much of an in to get through to them.
I dont really like the phrase "If can just help one person its all worth it" However I have to work on that basis. I cant shoulder the entire burden that the gambling dens create. That is supposed to be done by a caring government who are failing us all.
I have my own recovery journey to do but can pass on the trusted advice. Whether people choose to accept it is up to them. Addiction is a very strong and highly confusing power.
So all the best and I hope you will reconsider your decision or come back from time to time
When you post in diary it still pops up in recent posts, people may read it and find it helpful even if they dont reply. Or you can go on individuals posts to also give advice.
Sharing your advice and tips in your diary will still show and people can find whats worked and hasnt worked especially new users that join they like to see how someone started off and how they are getting through it. I think it would be helpful for a new user to see where someone was when they joined and how they are progressing in recovery from start to where they are now

That's a shame because you post a comment on my very first post I did on here and gave me the best advice I ever had. I was stubborn and didn't take it all in and I regret it so much but now I have done all the steps and I'm in a much better place. 118 day GF today. I understand you can't be on here all the time and comment on everything but even if you just pop on every now and then I think just one comment could change someone's life! When I come on here every so often I do my diary and then read some stories and if I can offer any advice then I try my best as we all know how it feels like we're alone but then soon come to realise we have all been through it. I think it would be a real shame for someone like you to go.
Take care
Thank you all for the kind words. I will be looking in and responding from time to time. I am going to give focus to a course (book) I am writing atm which deals with creating a new neural pathway through some simple exercises I learned from a hypnotist in New York. The creating of a new neural pathway is simply put a possibility to create a new way of looking at gambling as a problem. I think I made a metaphor here on the forum about the bear and the berries. There is a way of exercising the mind to create that neural pathway so you can create new ways of thinking about gambling. I tried it on myself and I believe it has helped me and maybe it can help more people. When I am ready with it I will come back and ask for some volunteers to try it out if the admin is ok with me doing that.
Until then.
Stay strong, stay safe and never surrender!
Best
