Gazza

Fella a huge well done for chairing the meeting, I always try to inject a bit of humour into my chaired meetings, I think a huge part of a sucessful recovery is about enjoying it!!!

Fella keep enjoying yours

Gazza

fella keep taking the medicine, you took the lid off that bottle and threw it away. For that you keep dosing up.

Be proud of that.

As each day you do win your race.

Day 517, 518 (74 weeks) and 519 (17 months)

Thanks Blondie and Dunc for your posts.

I've been following some diary pages quite closely recently and am a little saddened to read some of the posts.

A member of my GA group warns people who have slipped to come back to meetings but warns them not to do it too often as he believes some can get addicted to giving up. Personally I think it's wise to give up all forms of gambling but that's just my thoughts.

Day 520 to 531

Been away for a week or so and couldn't get near a computer.

Missed last week's GA but made the previous meeting.

All is well

Hi Gazza and great stuff on your gambling free time. I relate to what you say about becoming addicted to giving up. That's me to an extent. I guess its finding a balance between recovery work and just getting on with life. Anyway glad to see all is well with you. Regards... S.A 🙂

Day 535,536 and 537

A busy week is nearly at an end.

I made it to GA last night and was struck by the turnover of new members.

Another 2 added to the group last night-will they become regulars?

Hope everyone has a nice weekend.

Gazza

Fella thanks for popping by I am pleased you are still taking the medicine my friend.

That stat in my GA that only three out of a hundred make it to a year gamble free is frightening, but for me very sobering and very true.

Keep up the great work

19 months for me today by the calendar well pleasing to know that two years abstinence is closer than 1year.
