Day 916-931 133 weeks

Not posted for a while as busy at work.

Missed last 2 GA meets but planning on getting back this week.

Life is so busy, happy to deal with the ups and downs without having to worry about the fall-out from gambling.

Day 932-943

Busy, hectic and stressful times over the last few weeks. Getting there but some trying times ahead.

Busy work and home life have meant I've not attended GA for several weeks.

I think if you miss 6 in a row, you start again, maybe I'm wrong. What I do know is I continue to make the right choices for me and mine. I'll get back to GA when I can. Still read this forum daily and it helps keep my focus.

Stay strong,

gazza

Gazza

fella as always a great pleasure to read you are still gamble free.

Regards the GA room,my room respects the fact that members who have long periods of abstinence will not attend as frequently and they are judged accordingly, bottom line is fella you know where the door is and have gifted many others your time.

I hope your own room respects this too.

Keep making the right choice

Abstain and maintain

Day 944-957

Thanks Dunc for your post.

Missing some of my GA group but not the negativity that sometimes spilled over into the meeting.

Since my second year pin, I've struggled to fit in. Attending started to cause me some stress which was not good.

I'll return when I'm ready.

Take care everyone,

Gazza

Day 968-985

Been a couple of weeks since my last post, so I thought I'd better up-date. Still not been back to GA, was going last night but a stressful and tiring week got the better of me, and I had an earlyish night instead.

Planning on returning next week though.

Life rolls on. The usual ups and downs that life brings. One thing, NO GAMBLING, that just brings DOWNS!!!

Have a nice weekend if you read this.

Gazza

Day 986-999

Tomorrow I hit 1000 days gamble-free and have decided to stop the "day counting". Crazily, it worked for me. I remember significant targets-90, 100, 365 etc. They all helped. Was planning on returning to GA last night but family events conspired against it. Nevermind, I'll try again next week. Have just passed on my congratulations to Dunc on his 1 year-a legend!!!

Best wishes everyone,

gazza
