Thanks for the update Deano,

Know this maybe just me but I can not see a email address to send the completed form to. I followed this link but the link is not working.

Voluntary Self-Exclusion

For information about Voluntary Self-Exclusion and the various schemes available please visit Opt-in to Self-Exclude

If you could have a look into it and let me know that would be great.

Thanks again

Malc

Hey Malkie

Have just typed up a lovely long post to you and then it was gone!! Anyway, just wanted to say well done you on 33 days and heading towards your next target. Like me, I set myself monthly mini goals, which really help and give me something positive to focus on, instead of gambling away all my hard earned salary.

Take care.

Our Lady.

P.s. Do you or anyone else, keep getting a "CAPTURE" message at the bottom of every post you type, asking you to state how many signs/shop fronts et Chou can see? It is really starting to annoy me having to go through this every time. Have emailed gamcare and they have said it is for extra security or something like that. Interested to know if it is happening to everyone else too?

Hi malc I've had a read and it stats to join sense you need to go to your local casino with the relevant Id and from there the manager then sends your info to the relevant party and your exclusion goes from there. And from then you'll be banned from all casinos. That are part of the scheme. A little side note from me is either take someone with you. And or don't carry absolutely any cash when you go. Hope that helps

Thanks for the update Deno,

Think I will stay we clear of the casino's just now happy enough plodding along, problem is like you say you might end up going and to be honest that is the last thing I want. So for just now I think I will stay well clear of them I have no reason to go close to them I live and work in the country and they are in the big smoke about 15 miles away. I think I will just put that on my todo list would be much easier if you could email or phone, the joys.

Thanks agian

Well done Malkie, the days are racking up now but more importantly you are finding pleasure if simple things in life again.

Once this addiction has a grip on us it deprives us from enjoying the people/pets right in front of us.

Keep doing what you are doing m8 - well done!

If ever anyone needs motivation to help stop gambling read through your own diaries and man what an eye opener that is,

How can we be so stupid, I will never truly understand what drives us to gamble, why would we do that in the fist place. You know who cares why we gambled as long as we never ever gamble again life will be so much easier.

Anyway lets crack on

Stay Strong Stay G/f

I cried all the way through this, people if you don't think you have a problem watch this, it not just about us it about everyone around about us, the utter destruction that we cause with gambling.

Hi Malc

Thank you for the diary post and kind words. I note that your clock stands at 34 days so a big well done from me. Those early days can be tough as we re adjust from what we became to the new avenues we want to follow.

I wish you every success and keep posting. Just a read or a post on here can make a huge difference.

Malc,

Pleased to read your progress, doing all the things in life that come for free, especially with your son will give you the buzz you need. Keep going mate.

Sorry about the rugby 😉
