Hi Steve,

I'll not spoil it for you though mate.

Well done on 3 months brother. Outstanding.

Never get complacent.

Thanks for your post -it means a lot that people take the time to say encouraging things and offer support

I read all of Jac's diary yesterday. An amazing story! Inspiring to read.

I do believe that good will come out of all this mess and although I know gambling has damaged our relationship working together to change will surely strengthen it and bring us closer.

Thankyou again for your message.

Enjoy your new fruitful life and be happy

Lili

hi steve,

congrats on 3 months + gamble free !

You are 100% right about complacency, that evil little demon would love to come out to play if you drop your guard!!

you have a lot of support on the forum, and we are all willing you to beat this.

i've decided to wait till Fri to see last ever Lost and i guess we should expect the unexpected.

continued strength on your journey.

Is Lost a tv series or what we all were when we were gambling mad?

Hi Guys,

Stumper I'm thinking both mate!!

It's been a mad long day. I couldn't resist and got up at 5am to watch the last ever Lost episodes, went to work and only just got back in. I'm knackered. I know that some people will think i'm a proper fruit cake, but I really enjoyed the last episodes and although some aren't happy with the ending, I thought it was very clever, filled with symbolism and tied up some of the lingering questions very nicely. I think i'm going to have to buy the dvd collection and watch it through again. Obviously no time to gamble today, so another one notched up!!

Stay Strong

Steve

Maybe just maybe that long road you mentioned on your first page of your diary is not quite as long as you first thought Steve.

Keep going mate

Thanks for your support Stumper, it really does give me a boost.

Got a day off today, so i've treated myself to a nice little lie in. Think I might hit the gym today at some point. Really need to get into training if i'm going to complete a 10km race before end of year.

I've got to admit that recently, i've been having more regular thoughts of gambling, but the thoughts don't last as long as they used to. I really do use this forum as my conscience and I would really hate to come on here and say i've slipped up again, even though I know most, if not all, wouldn't judge me for it. For now, I feel that I will use you guys as my symbol of resistance.

Hope everyone enjoys a good, positive day.

Mantente Fuerte

Steve

Hope you enjoy your day off Steve, interesting that you've experienced a few more gambling thoughts than usual,i think we will always have times when we do,the main thing is not to act upon them.

It looks like your team may be signing Elliot Ward from Cov....,he's a good player who hasn't had a fair chance with us to be honest, cracking penalty taker!!!.Stay strong.

Hi yorkie and cheers for the post, really appreciate it.

Glad to see your doing well even though you've had some thoughts about gambling. We all get the urge now and then mate. Main thing is when we do get them we don't act on them.

Stay strong

Hi Steve,

Cheers for the post mate. Keep pushing those gambling thoughts to one side. I can tell you from recent experience that once you have that first bet you are right back to square one. Best not to bother at all!

I enjoyed the LOST finale mate. It must have been a little dusty in my living room as my eyes were watering at times. Soppy me? Never! There are still many things that do not make sense to me but then there has always been an air of mystery about the series so it's good that i am still scratching my head three days after it finished! I'll wait for the blue ray box set and then watch it all again.

The missus has got me watching 'Glee' on DVD instead now. Not quite as good!

Take it easy mate.
