Thank you for your post Wilsy,

It's only just appeared this morning even though sent yesterday, no idea why that is.

I am going to look deeper into DMP its not something I want to do but I doubt anyone else did either and if it keeps things more manageable then.... Good.

Have a good day mate, I appreciate your input, it's good advice, ty.

Day 121

thanks Positive Action and Cookie.

I haven't been as active on the forum recently as I have been busy and for other reasons I don't want to go into. I am feeling fine within myself now and am feeling much more positive with the help and support of my lovely family. Anxiety has eased right down and I am sleeping and eating better, it really helps being paid and being able to stock up the cupboards.

I would like to mention how much I appreciate this forum being here, it really does help me stay focussed and positive as I am sure it does with many others.

I have a nice weekend planned weather permitting and I have no gambling urges whatsoever.

Have a great weekend everyone, stay safe.

Wilsy x

Hi Lulu, I get rough days regularly with my depression, I just take myself to bed or watch a box-set, just try ever so hard to try and remain strong okay, you are doing so, so well, I know it doesn't feel like it at times but you are.

xxx

Hi Wilsy

Nice to see you are still gamble free, how you have described yourself, it would be so easy to take the easy option and start gambling. Well done, keep up the inspirational work on here and on others diary. Take care.

Day 122
Thanks shaun you are right what I have been through, how I've been treated and because of how I feel at times I have often turned to it but I'm determined not to this time. No longer overdrawn that's all been cleared so I can see a light at the end of the tunnel just got to keep on pushing forward.

Congratulations Wilsy. 1 2 3 days gamble free is excellent and you have coped well with adversity.

Hope you enjoy the match tonight. Get well wrapped up.

Music choice for today is "Here we go" by Run D M C . A big hit from 1983 which includes the line "One two three is the place to be." It certainly is a good place to be for you my friend. Keep blazing that trail.

DAY 124

thanks Stephen, I remember that song ha ha and Jayden thanks also for your support.

Well had a lovely weekend, stress free, good company, just a shame it went so quickly. Off to London after work tonight to watch Palace versus Man Utd, just hope we can put in a good performance. Going down the bank this morning to close my overdraft facility and to press complaint procedures against Natwest, they allowed me when I was in a bad place to increase my overdraft three times in the space of just over a month. They weren't interested in protecting their customers they were only thinking of themselves, what happened to reviewing someones overdraft after six months which I remember used to be the case?!

No gambling urges, much happier and content right now and looking forward to racking up another week of gamble free days.

Stay safe everyone and have a good week.

Wilsy

Day 125
1.00 am and before I drift off to the land of nod had a wonderful night with my eldest nephew Harvey at the football just a shame we couldn't pull off a win but a great game and five goals he certainly enjoyed it and I loved having him with me. Six hours sleep now before another day at work, certainly feeling better within myself and looking forward and never back, the past can stay where it is and hopefully never to be seen or witnessed again. Have a great Tuesday everyone xxx

DAY 126

another day. Slept very well, quite deeply actually, that makes a change. Bit worried about my eldest guinea pig, she seems to be really slowing down, sleeping most of the time and just looks a bit washed out so will keep an eye on her, I hope she isn't coming to her end. Found a new set of 15 inch wheels for my car so hopefully punctures are a thing of the past. Have enough money to fix my electric window, buy the set of wheels and buy a set of tyres, this would not have been achievable if I had carried on gambing.

No urges whatsoever, work is fine, eating, sleeping, no anxiety, more relaxed, sense of humour has returned, enjoying being around people more and looking forward to what the future holds.

Have a safe and peaceful day everyone.

Be at 200 days before you know it keep it up!
