Day 149

Not long since I last posted! Woke today strangely cheerful, Im not going to try and analyse why-just going to enjoy!

Sons visiting tonight which Im looking forward to.

Day 150

Its been a busy busy week. Work's hectic and catching up with folk in the evenings which is saving me from the dreaded boredom!

I didn't realise how much time I was giving to gambling when I was in the midst of the madness. It's great having time to spend with friends and family without rushing to the slots- much more enjoyable 🙂

Thanks for the post, I appreciate it. Egg Beaters is a brand of a company that makes egg whites that are fat free and cholesterol free. Very healthy and high in protein with very low calories. They come in a container that say egg beaters on them, ***** should have them in your area. Not sure if you have ***** over there, but any supermarket should carry them.

Day 151=5 calander months

I can hardly believe its been 5 months that I last gambled. Its gone so fast. Looking back, its been a strange time. Im learning to accept help and to admit that Im not 'ok' all the time. Im not invincible- Im human and do make mistakes, need help and sometimes I do need support. Heartfelt thanks to this forum and everyone who uses it and has offered unstinting, non judgemental advice.

Visiting my friend later this evening so Ill celebrate with a coffee and cream bun!!
