I want to put this addication to bed. I have lost nearly everything to this problem. Even when I had lost nearly everything, then won an on-line casino's biggest ever win, I managed to give it all back in a year through other outlets. I am ashamed embarrased depressed, nearly broke, worried to the end of my wits about future finances, yet still I find a way.

I have destroyed my second time around love, heartbroken really heartbroken, five months since we parted, I broke her heart and mine too, my sons have little or no respect for me, my father went to his grave knowing my relationship was in tatters, the worst thing ever seeing him break down over my loss, in his last days.

I should have been retiring shortly, that will now take place in another ten years, I need the salary for another ten years to have any hope of surviving.

I am mentally a mess, pills from the doc's make me ill physically, then i can't function at all.

Its a beautiful sunny day, i should be with my partner, but its all gone, all gone, this addication has taken nearly everything except my ability to breathe.

Life what have you allowed me to do and become.

Broken.

Go back to the doctor Paul...This situation isn’t going to fix itself but it doesn’t have to hurt like it is!

Get to GA/other meetings, arrange counselling, speak to your mental health services, do whatever it takes to get back on an even keel & then you can start building bridges with family members who are still here. I am sorry for your loss but grief is a catalyst for addiction & carrying around stuff you can’t change is like a 100lb weight on your mind.

You’ve been ill for a long time, frustrated me along the way, but no-one deserves to live in torment! There is help out there, (GamCare is not enough for you) reach out - ODAAT

Hi lost, you find a way because you want to. Get to GA, get well, get support. Choose not to gamble it's given you nothing but pain. Good luck
