Would you like support from someone who has their own experience of gambling related harms, and is now in recovery? Â
Our Online Peer Support Service offers a safe space to connect with others who understand what you are going through. Â
Whether you are struggling with gambling yourself, or if you are affected by a loved one’s gambling, we understand just how isolating it can feel at times. Our Online Peer Supporters understand this too, as they have been in those very situations themselves. They are here to be that listening ear, to understand more about your situation and to support you in your journey. Â
How does it work?Â
Â
What Can I talk about?Â
In our service you can talk about anything related to your gambling or the gambling of a loved one, that you would like support with. Â
Those currently in the service all use it in different ways, and this will depend on you and your peer. For some, it is useful for getting practical advice, hints and tips about recovery, for others it is so they feel they are accountable to someone and have someone to check in with each week to discuss any progress made, and anything that’s been challenging too. It can also be simply about having someone in your corner, that you can be completely honest with and is there to support you and listen to you, every step of the way.  Â
