Ok so it's 2am and my anxiety hasn't chilled out I have a few points I'd like to air! This might sound like utter rubbish to some! Iv a friend Iv known along time out of a group of pals (all 30 summats) he's always been the comedian the lad has had the worst luck in world had a massive bike accident left him disabeled (flatlined 3 times) then had a big battle with illness. Last year to a few of us he told us he was a medium (spiritual) took a lot for him to admit that to us, this is importantly before I started gamberling.after me asking him repeatedly he told me two things. 1.) in a prevouse life I was a gambler who hung myself as I couldn't bare letting everyone down. He said he could see the rope around my neck and was the reason I have to make sure people around me are ok2.) I have a bad demon/spirit/what ever attached to me that hides behind me and try's to destroy me in any way it can, he said he could remove it through spiritual healing but iv had it that long it would change me as a person. This was all well before I even walked into a bookies. And iv never really thought anything off it. Believe it or not I believe him he has no reason to lie to me, he also text me randomly at 2 in morning to tell me my TV kept turning it's self of as it was my nan telling me she was still watching over me . Unless the man was stood outside my house with a spare remote there was no way he'd have known I was laid in bed watching a tele I wanted to throw out of window for playing up! Any takes on this ???

Please don't dwell on this man's claims. He's not a friend to you telling you nonsense like this. Anyone who claims to be a medium is a charlatan preying on the vulnerable.

Hello Blownitagaib,

Reading your story, I am not sure whether you are concerned about what your friend tells you or about your gambling. If you feel your gambling is out of control, you can contact us for support.

The feedback you are getting from your friend doesn’t sound positive nor helpful in any way, so I would not focus on that. Instead I would look at ways that can help me take control over my life.

Best wishes,
