so you sat in a ga meeting and didn't believe them? what chance has your partner got if your not going to try?

gambling addiction can be very serious. It can affect a gambler and yes their friends and family in many parts of their lives.

gamcare does counselling for the family and friends members as well. you could ring them and get some help

Edith

I read your post but now it's gone but will reply anyway

I totally understand. Living with a CG leaves you unable to believe anything anyone says. It's mental torture. No CG will ever truly understand no more than we will understand their compulsion to bet

It's not down to you to try and repair any damage done so don't be talked into thinking it is.

If someone physically hurt you it woundnt be down to you to try and help them deal with their violence or understand why they hit out so don't think it's down to you to try and make better the mental and emotional abuse they dish out either.

I can safely talk from years of experience and years of advice from councillors including those from gamcare

You need to recover your way. Take the CG out of the equation and look after no 1 x
