So this is a bit of a random thought but it's the Grand National coming up next week. An event which is 'a bit of fun' for most people is just going to be a reminder of everything that's gone wrong in my marriage. At work we will have a sweepstake and, the way I am feeling right now, I think I may just 'freak out' if anyone as much as even speaks to me about it, never mind asks me to pull straws. Has anyone got any tips for handling this?

A bit of a random one, I know. Think I just need to have some coping stategies up my sleeve in advance....

Thank you

i just tell people i don't gamble anymore

i've got a problem with gambling

however everyone handles it differently

you could say your religion prohibits you from gambling

you could say you just don't want to

if i want a bet i'll find a reason to gamble

hope i keep finding a daily reason not to
