Hi again hopeful,
I'm more than happy for you and I to exchange email addresses. It's always good to talk out problems and if you're like me at the moment I'm getting nowhere fast trying to talk to my OH. In the short time since I joined this forum it's helped no end, I am armed with information gained from experience. We're not alone and there is support for us too.
Hope to hear from you soon
Bev
Hi Hopeful42, Twinkletoes and all.
Hopeful42, you have been through so much with depression and now this. As others have said, please do contact us on the Helpline or Netline - details at the top of each page. We can help you out with free counselling to help you plan your way forward through this. We can point you towards your nearest GamAnon Family Group. Or you can just talk it over and let off steam.
Twinkletoes, as you probably know forum users are welcome to post their contact details on this forum, as this is a place where forum users can support each other. But do bear in mind it is public and can be viewed by anyone, not just signed in members. Posting your email address publicly can attract spam and other unwelcome contacts. Also, if someone who knows your email address from somewhere else were to Google your address, it could reveal that you are a member of this forum.
That's why we offer the option to contact forum.admin@gamcare.org.uk where we'll pass on addresses.
For everyone's info here's a reminder of our guidance on sharing contact details on the forum:
