Just wanted to post that I have been gambling free for 3 months, the reason for the post is that without this forum I think I would have gambled again, just reading some of the heartbreaking posts once or twice a week helps me to put things into perspective, so many stories that sound so familiar and great support and advice from so many good people, I know I will always be addicted to gambling but as each week passes the thoughts lessen, keep strong everyone and good luck in your fight!!
WOW 3 months that is excellent well done. I also find this website helpful, not my cure but very helpful in deed. I only dream to post such words im trying to survive just today..

Your post makes for an interesting read, and I’m glad you’ve chosen to make tough and wise decisions for yourself by learning from others’ experiences (just like most forum members do), that is: reading posts from the forum, and applying the strategies and boundaries that you think are beneficial to your circumstances.
It’s so nice of you to acknowledge that using the Forum has helped you to stay gamble free for 3 months; (good efforts and achievement on your side). It is equally good to recognise that the Forum is playing a big role in your journey to recovery in terms of support and advice too.
Like you mentioned, you do identify with some of the stories here, and thus apply the advice you learn from these stories to enhance your recovery process, which again is effort on your side.
