I have gambled for around 6 years, which I know is not as long as many others. During my time gambling I have spent every penny that I have, lied and obtained money in ways I never thought I would.
I have tried previously to stop gambling, to no success. I know 100% that I cannot have a single bet, spin or game otherwise I will continue, but it is so hard to stay away. Blockers on my laptop are good, but as you all know that will not prevent mobile gaming, walking into a bookies etc.
I am ashamed of myself, I am ashamed that I have made my life and others miserable for so long because of my addiction.
No matter how much I win, I always want more. This is nothing other than greed. I will lose my winnings, lose every penny I have then try to obtain more money. When I win I see it as "money I never had" and when I lose I see it as "money I need to win back".
I am fortunate that I am in the process of repaying all of my debts and should be debt free by the end of the year. This is the only positive that I can take at this moment in time.
I am going to attempt to stop gambling from this very moment, my last bet was today. Hopefully, it will be my last bet.

There are many reasons for developing a gambling addiction and it may seem on the surface that ‘greed’ is the main one for you but it is not as simple as that. K9 do a mobile blocker.
The way i stopped it on my mobile tho was to restrict the app world so you cant download the bookies apps, I had someone put a code in so i cant download them.
Its helped me alot when i put that in place about 2/3months ago because i was betting at work or anywhere when i had a urge.
