I’m 19, I have made XX from gambling. Before this I had a gambling problem and would bet my earnings as soon as I got them. Yesterday, I lost XX on betting. Considering I have won XX I don’t know why I got back to it. I have been feeling down about it.

Gambling is a waste of time. In the end you always lose. What's the point then! You should try a new hobby and hopefully it will take the attention away from gambling.

Hi melodic. You are only19 and you do have a gambling problem. Confront it head on now before it gets a real grip on you. Put blocks on websites that you use gamstop is free to use. You are on the slippery slope that will hurt not only your finances but your mental health too. Stop now ! Best wishes.

Trust the experienced heads on this forum. Your comments suggest you are in that very dangerous zone of mulling over your losses, why did I have that bet, I wish I could turn back time...all these dangerous thoughts can lead you on to the really dangerous ones...maybe I could win it back, I could just try to get that amount back and then stop as I would feel so much better to have done so.

What about if you don't win it back? What about if you lose a bit more trying to win it back and then lose more still chasing the new loss?

This is how most of us end up here in such a state. If you can't have a bet and are happy to win a little bit or not fret if you lose a little bit then you shouldn't be betting, it's the equivalent of self harming yourself, just financially instead of physically.
