So hi, clearly i'm new here. And being here means I have a problem with gambling.
Not entirely sure what to say, i'm here because after almost 12 months of not gambling i managed to ruin that today in an inexplicable moment of madness.
I feel like i've ruined all my hard work, i've let myself down, i've let my family down and here I am, back to square one.
I've never been so angry with myself.
I'm actually annoyed that I won, i'm on here to try and break the temptation of spending those winnings.

Hi DiggerG,
Welcome to the Forum! You are right, it doesn't matter whether you win or loose. When you relapse, you are on the brink of entering the cycle of chasing. It's good that you have noticed this and that you are determined not to repeat this for yourself. You have managed to stop for a long time and you can do this again. You have done very well. Maybe you are not back at square one, you just hit a bumpy stretch on your road to recovery. You can do this, DiggerG. You can stop.
Kind wishes
Gabriele
DiggerG let the feelings you have now, coming here, admitting you tripped & having to start again @ 1 be sufficient punishment, don't you make it worse by going back to the place that made you quit all those days ago! Give the winnings to charity if you must but I say, forgive yourself & move on from here, treat yourself to something to celebrate a future free of gambling!
Best of luck!
